I apologize for my unexpected hiatus from the blog. But am glad I can at least say I was a little productive. Above are a couple pieces I did with a style I have been trying out. I have been playing with the idea for a couple months now. Feeling like a breakthrough was had over the weekend so going to roll with it... for now.

Very interesting - that is quite a style. So are you going to do more of that style? Did you enjoy it?
ReplyDeleteIt has been an enjoyable style to mess around with. I also feel like I am able to really let myself go creatively and just dive into a piece and have fun with it. Mostly just nature scenes have been coming to mind but we will see where it goes!

ReplyDeleteSnowflakes just popped in my head! You should try it with a snowflake/winterish scene. (maybe cause I love the different shades of blue with white and silver)
