Happy Groundhog Day! I had this idea in my head, plus I wanted to play around with some new mediums - watercolor & ink - the above is what came of it. Here is to no shadow and a short wait for Spring!
Hahaha! Well, I do think regular snow activity doers like yourself have gotten robbed this year. So lets say for this 6 week period... heavy snow fall in the mountains and tolerable valley weather?
We are on the same page! I thought it was that way as well - seems a little backwards still. While researching, I found most common that if the groundhog sees his shadow then it's back in the hole for more winter, if no shadow is present it's a sign of Spring! After all it is folklore so who really knows ha-ha!
Ef THAT noise! Here's to Winter actually beginning! :)
ReplyDeleteKudos on the concept and the result!

I am impressed Andy! But I would have liked to have the groundhog see his shadow! I am ready to have spring!
ReplyDeleteThanks! :)
